Deacons are expected to serve the church and it's staff. Deacons also provide spiritual leadership to the church by participating in the church ministries, generous stewardship of time, energy and resources. They are to euqip the church for ministry and exemplify high Christian standards in their own lives.

Deacon of the week is expected to

• Pray in the assigned Venue during worship service.
• Collect Visitor Cards from the offering plate. Make copies and return the originals to Pam's InBox.
• Make visitation a priority the entire week. Visit the hospitals and shut ins as needed. Call the Pastor and arrange a time to go visiting with him.
